Highly creative peroid for global textile

Under the complicated and changeable international situation, in the past 4 months, CHINA TEXTILE has launched a series of reports on "Global Textile in Action", covering five continents of Asia, Europe,America, Africa and Oceania, involving 28 countries and regional organization in the world, focusing on the development of the global textile industry, providing more diversified overseas perspectives and comprehensive foreign textile information for the industry, and helping enterprises to achieve the ultimate goal of trade growth.

Asia covers 8 countries including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh,Japan, Vietnam, Turkey, Indonesia and South Korea. Among them,India, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries have become the protagonists of the topic because of their low labor costs. The textile industry has promoted the economic rise of their countries to a certain extent, and the label of "Next China" has been mentioned many times.Japan and South Korea turn to research new technologies and materials,and their products occupy important places in the global industrial chain because of its differentiation and specialization.

Europe covers 8 countries and regional organization including the European Union, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Britain, Russia and Ukraine. Among them, the European Union, represented by Germany,France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland, still plays an important role in the European manufacturing industry. While actively responding to the negative impact of the pandemic, it also attaches great importance to the R&D end of industrial manufacturing, and constantly contributes wisdom and strength in the fields of high-quality textiles and high-end fashion products. On the other hand, Brexit put on the "shackles" of comprehensive tariffs on Britain, and professionals and research funds also made it suffer heavy losses; the continuous conflict in Ukraine has led to the price increase of raw materials, and textile foreign trade enterprises have been hit hard.

America covers five countries: the United States, Canada, Brazil,Argentina and Mexico. Among them, the United States and Canada have strong brand competitive advantages in special yarns, fabrics,clothing, etc., and plan to increase their procurement and production activities in the coastal areas of Central America in the future. Due to the change of pandemic and the uncertainty of Sino-US relations, Argentina,Mexico and other countries have made great efforts to attract Chinese enterprises to invest and build new regional supply centers with their geographical advantages.

Africa covers four countries: Egypt, South Africa, Ethiopia and Nigeria.At present, Africa's textile industry is still in its infancy, and its industrial base is generally weak. Thanks to the Belt and Road initiative, many Chinese enterprises have invested in factories in Africa, participating in and investing in more than 50% of local textile and garment projects.

Oceania covers two countries: Australia and New Zealand. Abundant natural resources such as wool and cotton support the development of Australia and New Zealand's textile system centered on science and technology. In the future, they will continue to impress consumers with their impact and highly competitive textile products, and continuously build the image of manufacturing countries with high quality and sustainable development.

Finally, we put China, an Asian country, as a special representative in the last part of this series of reports. We want to highlight the development advantages and characteristics of China's textile industry,and we look forward to the future development of China's textile industry,which basically achieves the goal of becoming a textile power.
