Since February this year, the Window for International Exchanges of Chongqing Culture & Tourism (WCIT) has been actively supporting the international cooperation efforts of the Chongqing Vocational College of Culture and Arts to give full play to the role of city-level cultural tourism international exchange service platforms.With the support of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), WCIT has facilitated the collaboration between the Chongqing Vocational College of Culture and Arts and Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU), Thailand.On September 15, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between the two parties was held in Chongqing.
Liang Yue, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Chongqing Vocational College of Culture and Arts, expressed that the exchanges between China and Thailand were based on good faith and those between the two colleges on integrity.Liang hoped that both sides would have more tangible outcomes in terms of cooperative education, faculty and student exchanges, and course development and wished that the strategic cooperation between the two colleges would soon yield fruitful results.
Kanokkittika Kritwutikon, Director of the TAT Chengdu Office, reviewed the close cooperation and exchanges between China and Thailand.She also introduced Thailand’s five-year national tourism development plan and promoted Thailand’s high-quality tourism resources, allowing the participating guests to have a comprehensive understanding of Thailand.
During the school promotional session,Chen Yong, Deputy Dean of Chinese International College and Director of China Affairs Office at DPU, introduced basic information about DPU.He expressed that the two colleges would achieve excellent results in international exchange, scientific research exploration, faculty development,and joint talent cultivation and would also cultivate more outstanding talents for the development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Wu Xiaolan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of the Chongqing Vocational College of Culture and Arts, showcased the educational philosophy of the college from various perspectives, including cultures, academics,integration, and responsibilities.She noted that the college would continue to enhance the quality of education and foster more outstanding talents in culture and arts.
On the day of the event, Kanokkittika Kritwutikon awarded Chongqing International Window Culture and Tourism Co., Ltd.the title of “Thai Tourism Experts Chongqing Training Center”.Moving forward, both parties will work together to build a training and improvement platform for professionals engaging in tourism from Chongqing to Thailand.
On October 6, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development released the cultural tourism market data for the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday.According to the report, Chongqing welcomed a total of 2.3182 million overnight tourists, and 130 enclosed tourist attractions throughout the city received 8.549 million visits during the eight-day holiday.Data from OTA (Online Travel Agency) platforms like Ctrip, Fliggy, Qunar, and Lvmama reveals that Chongqing emerged as one of the top tourist destinations in China, with part of its indicators ranking among the top three in the country.
Chongqing’s urban scenic spots attracted a substantial number of visits: The popular destination Ciqikou Ancient Town welcomed 909,000 visits,while the Hongyadong Folk Custom Scene Area received 878,000 visits, and the Yangtze River Cableway witnessed 110,300 visits.When it comes to cross-provincial and group tourism, 5A-rated tourist attractions remained the preferred choices:The Wulong Karst Tourism Area saw 504,000 visits, while the Qianjiang River’s Zhuoshui Scenic Area attracted 261,000 visits, and Jinfo Mountain in Nanchuan received 119,000 visits.Scenic areas like theme parks were highly favored by young people and families with children: The Chongqing Zoo welcomed 283,000 visits, and the Chongqing Garden Expo received 135,200 visits.Furthermore,historical and cultural scenic areas served as windows for outside visitors to delve into the city’s history: 199,000 People paid visits to the Gele Mountain Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery, and 116,000 people visited the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum.
During the holiday, Chongqing organized various large-scale events including the 2nd Chongqing Urban Arts Festival, the 15th China Western Animation Culture Festival, and the inauguration ceremony of Chongqing Autumn Tourism in 2023.It also launched the “Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor” themed train.In addition, over 200 cultural tourism activities, over 70 measures for the wellbeing of the people, 190 tourism guesthouses, 130 new scenic areas and spots, and 100 tourist routes were launched.Furthermore, 50 new products such as tourism and leisure blocks, camping bases, tourism performances,characteristic projects, and immersive experiences were introduced.The aim was to enhance the range of cultural tourism products available during the holiday, thus stimulating consumption potential and vitality.
A total of 42 public libraries and 41 cultural centers in Chongqing are open to the public for free, and they also offer a wide range of online services.The total in-person attendance reached 1,589,800, while 1,060,200 people accessed services online.Chongqing’s 35 main theaters and new art performance spaces organized a total of 405 shows, attracting approximately 105,000 visits.Additionally, the city’s 16 public art galleries presented 12 themed exhibitions, welcoming around 87,000 visits in total.The art exhibition “The Birth of All Things—Dai Ze’s Return to Hometown at the Age of 100” at the Chongqing Art Museum and the acrobatics show Top of the World II at Chong Qing Circus City were highly favored by visitors.
Furthermore, the city planned and launched 62 special exhibitions and 114 social educational activities.“Profundity of Literature—Exhibition of Ancient Books from Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum and Chongqing Library”, “Pass the Flame—Itinerant Exhibition of the Memorial Hall for the Red Army’s Long March”, and other themed exhibitions, as well as Mid-Autumn Festival specials such as “Exploration of Yanjinggou”and “Gathering Under Full Moon, Relish at Mid-autumn”, attracted a large number of residents to visit museums and experience the charm of excellent Chinese traditional cultures during the holiday period.

为充分发挥市级文旅国际交流服务平台作用,今年2月以来,重庆国际文旅之窗积极助力重庆文化艺术职业学院对外合作,在泰国国家旅游局支持下,成功为重庆文化艺术职业学院与泰国博仁大学牵线搭桥,促成双方合作。9月15日,双方战略合作签约仪式在重庆举行。
重庆文化艺术职业学院党委书记梁跃表示,两国相交贵于信,两校相交在于诚。希望双方在合作办学、师生互送、课程共建上有更为直观的产出,祝愿两校战略合作早日结出丰盛硕果。
泰国国家旅游局成都办事处处长金智明回顾了中泰两国的密切合作交流,介绍了泰国5年国家旅游发展计划,并推介泰国优质的旅游资源,让与会嘉宾全面地了解泰国。
在学校推介环节,泰国博仁大学中文国际学院副院长暨中国事务处处长陈勇,介绍了博仁大学的基本情况。他表示,两校在国际交流、科研探索、师资队伍建设、人才联合培养等方面都将会取得非常好的成绩,也一定会为“一带一路”建设培养出更多优秀人才。
重庆文化艺术职业学院党委副书记、院长吴小兰,从人文、学术、融合、责任等方面展示了重庆文化艺术职业学院的教育理念。她表示,重庆文化艺术职业学院将继续致力于提升教育质量,培养更多优秀文化艺术人才。
活动当日,金智明为重庆国际之窗文旅有限公司授牌“泰旅专家重庆培训中心”。未来,双方将共同打造重庆赴泰国旅游从业者培训提升平台。
10月6日,市文化旅游委发布的中秋国庆假期文化旅游市场数据显示,在8天假期里,我市过夜游客接待人数为231.82万人次;130家封闭式旅游景区累计接待游客854.9万人次。来自携程、飞猪、去哪儿、驴妈妈等OTA(在线旅行社)平台数据显示,重庆旅游热度位居全国前列,部分指标居全国前三。
都市旅游景区游客接待量较大,热门景点磁器口古镇90.9万人次,洪崖洞民俗风貌区87.8万人次,长江索道景区11.03万人次;5A景区仍是跨省游、团队游首选,武隆喀斯特旅游区接待游客50.4万人次,黔江濯水景区26.1万人次,南川金佛山11.9万人次;主题乐园类景区深受年轻群体和亲子家庭喜爱,重庆动物园接待游客28.3万人次,重庆园博园13.52万人次;历史文化类景区成为外地游客了解城市历史的窗口,歌乐山烈士陵园接待游客19.9万人次,重庆中国三峡博物馆11.6万人次。
节日期间,全市组织举办第二届重庆都市艺术节、第十五届中国西部动漫文化节、2023重庆秋季旅游启动仪式等大型活动,开行“巴蜀文化旅游走廊”主题列车,推出文化旅游活动200余项、惠民措施70余项、旅游民宿190家、新景区景点130个、旅游线路100条,旅游休闲街区、露营基地、旅游演艺、特色项目、沉浸体验等新产品50个,着力丰富假日文化旅游产品供给,激发消费潜力和活力。

全市42家公共图书馆、41家文化馆免费开放,并提供内容丰富的线上服务,到馆人数158.98万人次,线上服务106.02万人次。全市35家主要剧场和演艺新空间演出405场,累计接待观众约10.5万人次,全市16家公共美术馆推出12个主题展览,累计接待观众约8.7万人次。重庆美术馆“万物生——百岁戴泽重回故里艺术展”、重庆国际马戏城《极限快乐2》杂技秀等受到广大游客青睐。
全市策划推出62项专题展览和114项社教活动。《丹函萃蕴——重庆中国三峡博物馆、重庆图书馆藏古籍展》《薪火赓续——红军长征主题纪念馆巡礼》等主题展览,以及中秋特辑“探秘盐井沟”“月圆雅会、趣享中秋”等主题活动,吸引广大市民在假日期间走进博物馆,感受中华优秀传统文化的魅力。
