Eling park, with its quiet and elegant environment, is home to former sites of diplomatic missions of the Allies in Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War. The eaves and walls of these buildings all bear the imprint of time. Located in Yihui Garden of Eling park in Yuzhong district, there's an eclectic styled building with green tiles, grey walls, red columns and brick & wood structures facing west, which is the former site of the Danish Legation. The building covers an area of 143 square meters, with 14.7 meters in width, 7.5 meters in depth and 7 meters in height,  and an eaves corridor on the outside. The whole courtyard is surrounded by green plants,  filling the courtyard with vitality.

In October 1938, the Danish Legation began its operation here. The first Danish minister Oswald flew to Chongqing on October 8, 1938. On June 14, 1940, Gao Lin, the new minister, arrived in Chongqing and took over. In August 1941, the Danish government announced its recognition of the puppet regime headed by Wang Ching-wei in Nanjing and the Manchukuo puppet regime supported by Japan. The then Chinese national government severed diplomatic relations with Denmark and the Danish Legation in Chongqing was closed.

In 2008, Eling park refurbished the former site of the Danish Legation.

Not far from the former site of the Danish Legation, through the trellis to the back of bonsai garden on the west side, there is a newly refurbished bungalow with green tiles, red walls and railings under the giant ficus microcarpa. It is surrounded by lush green trees, staggered rocks and gurgling water in front of its court. This is the former site of the Turkish Legation.

The building was built at the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War and is a bungalow with brick & wood structure. Facing south, it is also of eclectic style like the former site of the Danish Legation, with its red walls sitting in harmony with the surrounding green plants.

According to the documents of Yuzhong District Cultural Relics Administration, the Turkish Legation was set up here in December 1939. In December 1939, the first minister of the Turkish Legation, Xi Baxi, flew to Chongqing and presented his credentials on December 28. In May 1944, the Turkish Legation was upgraded as Turkish embassy and its first ambassador was Du Kai. In May 1946, the Turkish Embassy moved away from Chongqing. In 2003, Eling park refurbished the former site of the Turkish Legation by following its original form.
