In a recent conference on air pollu-tion prevention in the Pearl River Delta,it was disclosed that,according to clinicalstatistics,all residents aged 50 and above inGuangzhou,capital of Guangdong Province,have blackened lungs due to the inhalation ofexcessive pollutants.
