Research on the use of E—Class in the university class management

【Abstract】As an information exchange platform for online class, E-Class has played an important role in class management since its foundation. Based on the analysis of the impact of the network to university class management, this paper studied the advantages and the disadvantages of the current E-Class in class management, and proposed suggestions of strengthening the E-Class management.

In this paper, the E-Classes studied only be behalf of the network form of entity classes, which don't include the school community, student organizations, special activities and other organizations registered in E-Class. This research mainly adopts the method of questionnaire survey with totally 400 questionnaires issued, covering all grades and adjusting the proportion of men and women essentially flat.

1. analysis on the role of the class management of current E-Class

(1)Enrich the class content and realize the management of daily.

Through the network class platform of E-Class, between teachers and students can do timely, mutual exchange to achieve the daily management of any time and any places.

(2)Promote resource sharing and stop the university memories.

The Internet is a vast ocean of knowledge, of which every member of the class draws the essence, realizing the sharing of resources and freezing the beautiful memories of the university through the E-Class platform.

(3)Enhance the class contact and improve class cohesion.

Friendship in universities should be the most sincere feelings. Therefore, E-Class build a good bridge,not only can strengthen the link between teachers and students, but can enhance the feelings between class students and improve class cohesion.

2. analysis on the deficiency of E-Class in the class management of the university

(1)lack of awareness of the role of counselors in class.

The guiding role of the instructor in a class construction is beyond measure for which they are in charge of the education and management of the students in the class, so they are the class management and construction work of the leader, organizer and executor as well as coordinator, who play a leading role in class construction work. But in the survey we can see that many instructors have defects in the management of E-Class.

(2)lack of E-Class teachers.

through the investigation that although 70.5% of the students want teachers with students to exchange information and other related information to solve the puzzle of learning by E-Class this platform, the reality is that investigating students' 90% of teachers did not use E-Class.

(3)E-Class activities become a mere formality which leads to the lack of characteristics of the project.

Class activity is an important part of class management. However, survey results show that the status of the activities carried out in class activities showing that 75.3% of the students believe that the class activities are initiated by the instructor or the class leaders in order to comply with the requirements of the college.

3. Some thoughts on strengthening the management of the class of E-Class

(1)strengthen the guidance of counselors for E-Class and increase the interaction between teachers and students.

With the arrival of the new media era, counselors and students in E-Class exchange is no longer as traditional classes as needed by virtue of the phone, face to face and so on, which can be anywhere, but it does not mean that only asked the instructor to send a notice to the students; Instead, putting forward more requirements to them.

(2)Attract the teacher in the class easier and make them play the role of the leader of professional discourse.

Ideological and political education for college students is not merely the responsibility of college counselors, E-Class construction and management should rise to a higher level, launching all the enthusiasm of teachers and students to jointly build a spiritual home. Although teachers do not participate in class management directly, his thoughts and actions will affect the implementation of classroom management.

(3)Temper the culture of E-Class and encourage students to have subject consciousness.

The class culture of university is a kind of recessive education power, which shows unique spirit and style of a class. It is a kind of soft management, which reflects a kind of soft constraint and humane care for people. The culture of E-Class not only includes the above class activities but includes style of class, style of study, class collective opinion and class interpersonal relationship etc.

4. conclusion

New ideas and methods exploring the class management mode of the University in the new situation under the new situation are still “having a long way to go”, which asks us to keep an open mind and a positive attitude to continuously make improvement of the mode of E-Class in the management of college class with studying in practice and reflecting in theory.
