An Adventure For Me

Mum is cooking the meat in the kitchen.It smells wonderful！

Suddenly she cries：“There’s no soy sauce ！”

She asks me to buy some.“Across the street，opposite our apartment building，there’s a convenience store.Go to buy some soy sauce ！ I can’t leave now.”She gives me a tenyuan note.“Be careful.Make sure to use the zebra crossing and to look both ways when crossing the street.”

I haven’t walked down the street all by myself before ！ I haven’t bought anything all by myself before either！ That is an adventure for me ！ I am a little nervous.But I do like the delicious meat！ So I have to go.

I walk downstairs and walk to the zebra crossing.I stop at the crossing and look both ways carefully.I look again and again，just be sure there’s no car coming.Then，I cross the street safely and go into the store.

“I want a bottle of soy sauce.”I say to the storekeeper.“Here is the money.”I give the note to the storekeeper.The storekeeper looks kind.He takes the money，and then he hands a bottle of soy sauce to me，with some change.

I come back successfully.I have a wonderful adventure ！And of course I have very delicious meat for lunch.
