中考重中之重状语从句常见

同学们，状语从句在复合句中作主句的状语，它可根据功能分为时间、条件、让步、地点、原因、目的、结果、方式和比较九种从句。本单元涉及到的状语从句有until， so that，  although引导的状语从句，这三个状语从句都是我们中考中常常考到的重點内容，而且，也是同学们学习中的难点之一。

1. until引导的时间状语从句

until是连词，意为“直到……为止”。

He lived with his parents until he got married. 他与父母住在一起直到结婚为止。

注意：until后面的从句中不能用一般将来时，应该用一般现在时代替，这就是所谓的“主将从现”。

until与延续性动词连用时，动词用肯定形式，表示“直到……为止”，指主句的动作一直持续到until后的动作发生为止;与短暂性动词连用时，动词须用否定形式，意为“直到……才……”，指主句的动作一直到until后的动作发生时才发生。

He waits until / till the children are asleep. 他一直等到孩子们睡着。（wait为延续性动词）

The noise of the street didnt stop until midnight. 街上的喧闹声一直到半夜才停止。（stop为短暂性动词）

2. so that引导的目的状语从句

so that 是连词，意为“以便;为了”，可引导目的状语从句，so that引导的从句只能放在主句之后，从句中常用can， could， may， might等情态动词。

He got up very early so that he could catch the early bus. 他起床很早，为的是能赶上早班公共汽车。

so that引导的目的状语从句可与in order that或in order to结构相互转换。

He studies hard so that he could work better in the future. 他努力学习以便将来能更好地工作。

=He studies hard in order to work better in the future.

=He studies hard in order that he can work better in the future.

注意：so... that...意为“如此……以至于……”，so后接形容词或副词原级，引导结果状语从句。

The box is so heavy that we cant carry it. 这个箱子太重了， 我们搬不动它。

3. although引导的让步状语从句

although作连词，意为“尽管;虽然”，同though， even though， even if，用来引导让步状语从句。

Although my car is very old， it still runs very well. 虽然我的小汽车很旧，但跑起来挺不错。

注意：句中如果有although， though， even though，则不能再使用but。但若要强调前后两部分的对比意义，可在主句前加yet或still。

Although / Though he has a lot of money， yet / still he is unhappy. 他虽然有很多钱，但并不幸福。
