Happy Spring Festival

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar’s new year. In the evening before the Spring Festival, families get together and have a big meal. In many places people like to set off firecrackers. Dumplings are the most traditional food. Children like the festival very much, because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes. They can also get some money from their parents. This money is given to children for good luck. People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune.

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long. People visit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes”. People enjoy the Spring Festival, during this time they can have a good rest.

Lucky money

The spring festival is the loveliest in China, which is comes in February. Everyone loves it so much that prepare lots of things of the spring festival before it comes. In the spring festival holiday, people do many things, such as eat the dinner on the New Year’s, set off fireworks, stroll the famous fair likes “Baiyunguan” fair.

On the first day of lunar, the young generation congratulates the old generation with “Happy New Year!”

Then the old generation will give the young some lucky money which wrapped with red paper or red envelope. Because red is a color with joyful. Lucky money means the old generation’s love to the young and hope them can have a good luck in this new year. This is the lucky money which lots of the young want.

Three years’ school life

I’ve been in my middle school for three years. Three years’ school life plays an important role in my life.

I enjoy making friends and getting knowledge in school. I have also made friendship with lots of classmates, and I have also been taught different lessons by lots of different patient teachers. I have grown up a lot in the past three years.

I will never forget my three years’ school life.

On Confidence

As we all know,“Failure is the mother of success.” But I just want to say“Success is the baby of confidence.”First of all, confidence makes us happier in our life. Life is like a wonderful song, a bright and colorful painting. If confidence is with us in our life, we will find that life really becomes richer and more interesting.

Then, confidence makes us brave and courageous. If we lack confidence in ourselves, how can we overcome difficulties we meet with? If we have no confidence in ourselves, how can we succeed in developing ourselves in the future? Without confidence, nothing can be accomplished. That is to say, if you want to win, you have to believe in yourself.

Finally, I would like to use the following words as our mutual encouragement:“If you think you can, you can.”

My Favorite Job

I want to be a teacher because I think they are great. If I become  a teacher, I will work hard to teach my students. I will work with the children. I love children very much, so I will be happy every day. I will also be able to work outside sometimes. but I will work hard every day, sometimes I will be tired. I can also get more experience from my job. I think I will be a good teacher.
